Meet Brittany, PLAYtrain® Manager at JM Pet Resort, and her fur-baby Lucy (a.k.a. Lucy Goosey, Juicy, Moosey). Lucy is a 3-year-old Husky.

At JM Pet Resort and JM Pet Vet Clinic, we know how it feels to be a pet parent, because many of us are pet parents ourselves! We want the best for our fur-babies, just like you do. In our Team Picks series, we're sharing which foods, treats, toys, and other pet care products our JM team members love for their own pets at home. Check out Brittany and Lucy's favorite picks from our Retail Store.

Brittany and Lucy love...

Lucy is always in the clean plate club, thanks to Stella & Chewy's

"I feed Lucy Stella and Chewy's Raw Coated kibble. I love knowing it has great ingredients and Lucy really loves it. It is the first kibble that she never leaves anything left in her bowl, and doesn’t try to flip her bowl!"

For easy training treats, Brittany likes Northwest Naturals and Wholesomes

"Northwest Naturals Raw Rewards are the best high value treat! Also, Wholesomes fish stick treats are a great breakable option for training."

The Kong gives Lucy mental enrichment at home

"Lucy loves her kong especially filled with a wet food, treats and frozen foods! It will keep her busy for about an hour and then she will carry it around the house."

Super Snouts keeps Lucy healthy for all of her adventures

"One of our favorite products is the Super Snouts turkey tail mushroom supplement. Lucy goes out in public often, and is at the Resort daily playing in PLAYtrain® Doggie Daycare. This supplement helps support her immune system and keeps her healthy when being exposed to other dogs and different environments."

How to teach a Husky that walks are not sled races? A Halti!

"A Halti head halter was the best tool Lucy worked with as a puppy. She was able to work with me to understand leash pressure, and it gave me a lot of confidence to redirect her pulling and get her to focus on me when out in public! Lucy recently graduated from using this tool, but I cannot thank the team at JM Pet Resort enough for helping to desensitize Lucy to wearing a Halti. It changed our relationship so much using a tool that made working her pulling and impulse control so easy!"
