Throughout all ages and stages of a pet’s life, we are committed to their ongoing wellness; ensuring companion animals are by our side for as many years as possible. We attend to your dog’s every need; developmental, important first vaccinations, essential puppy socialization, obedience training with a healthy mind, and healthy dog approach. We keep cats healthy with wellness checks and offer a place to keep them safe while you’re away. Putting your pet’s bliss and welfare first, we get to know your companions as individuals to address and fulfill their every need. Our Resort
Setting a new standard in pet hospitality, our Resort and Veterinary Clinic are specifically designed to provide love and care for our pets, and convenience for our customers. From daycare, boarding, training, and grooming, to healthcare, nutrition retail and online store, we provide affordable services and a convenient location and hours “all under one woof.”

Our Neighborhood

Meet Our Team

Jeni Mather & NICKI

President of JM Pet Resort & JM Pet Vet Clinic
Jeni Mather is the owner and President of JM Pet Resort and JM Pet Vet Clinic. JM Pet Resort is a dream come true for Jeni; turning her lifelong passion for animal welfare and helping people into a thriving pet-care business. Jeni now employs over 50 staff members to support a variety of essential pet-care services. Her humble beginnings all began while attending college at Stonehill College. She trained dogs for extra money while working multiple customer service jobs. Graduating with a BS, she knew that she wanted to pursue a career in animal welfare and community outreach; and so it began. Jeni kick-started her career in 1996 by working two, and sometimes three jobs. She was a veterinary technician by day and a motivational dog trainer by night; specializing in socialization and aggression rehabilitation. In the years following, she would go on to work at a multitude of animal hospitals and grow her interest in animal welfare and the human-animal bond. Her intuitive dog training abilities and uncanny success stories quickly garnered her reputation as “the dog lady”. Her moonlighting experience was so positive it inspired her to make dog training her full-time career. In 1998, she opened JM K-9 Training which offered doggie daycare 6 AM-9 PM 7 days a week; the first of its kind on the South Shore. Jeni’s compassionate dedication to the care and well-being of animals and a very special dog named Blue inspired her to open the Brockton Blue Dog Shelter in 1999. Jeni recognized the need for a South Shore-based facility to support homeless dogs with health issues, obedience problems, or even a safe place for a family to relinquish a pet if necessary. Her unique rescue program resulted in the successful rehabilitation and placement of over 1,700 dogs! Over the next 13 years, the business thrived; expanding to offer many more amenities than just daycare. In 2011, Jeni moved her business to a brand new location and renamed the company JM Pet Resort, harnessing all of the impressive services in an 11,000 sq.ft. building. In 2016, there was one piece of animal care that Jeni wanted to offer her clients and people in the community: affordable veterinary care. Spending those years working as a vet technician, and as the Founder/Director of The Brockton Blue Dog Shelter, Jeni witnessed the struggle many people shared when it came time to pay for medical expenses. In 2016 Jeni fulfilled this wish by opening JM Pet Vet Clinic, a high-quality veterinary clinic stationed at the Resort. She intends to not only help the community with affordable veterinary care but to also help area shelters and animal control facilities who have strained budgets. Along with being the President of JM Pet Resort, Jeni is a Veterinary Technician and a Level 2 Certified Dog Trainer through the Animal Behavior College. She is also an Animal Behavior College Mentor and a Certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. Jeni resides in Easton with her loving husband George, her three beautiful children, and a few beloved pets, including Blueberry, Cora, King, Sakari, all adopted from the Brockton Blue Dog Shelter, and the newest member Nikki who was a Christmas surprise!

Sandra Vining & Crosby

Vice President Sr. Obedience Trainer
Sandra’s journey to JM Pet Resort was initiated by her Pug, Kramer! When she brought Kramer home as a playmate for her Shar-Pei, it was not the joyful union she was hoping for. In search of professional dog training services, Sandra found Jeni Mather. The dog’s relationship was transformed and so was Sandra’s career. She soon found herself apprenticing under Jeni to become a trainer herself. While volunteering at Blue Dog doing temperament testing and finalizing adoptions, Sandra decided to leave her retail management career behind and join Jeni full time. Sandra’s Pug Kramer is now twelve and co-habitating with Harry and Crosby, two Shar-Pei mixes and three cats, all in perfect harmony.

Ronda Guerreiro & Marley

VP of Finance
Ronda has been an integral team member for over seventeen years. With a BS in Accounting, and an MBA, Ronda is uniquely qualified to manage the finances of JM Pet Resort. Ronda loves bringing her knowledge and skills to such a unique business. Outside of work, Ronda enjoys skiing, outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with her husband and children.

Dr. Adam Page & Jaycee

Medical Director
Dr. Page has over 10 years of veterinary experience working in the South Shore Massachusetts area. Working in busy clinics, Dr. Page practiced wellness care, emergency care, routine dental prophylaxis, and of course performed surgeries such as spay, neuter, and small mass removals. Dr. Page has a special interest working for shelters, and spent some time working at the Animal Rescue League of Boston. In his spare time, Dr. Page enjoys computer programming and web design, but he can always rely on his 2 dogs to spend some time outside! Dr. Page received his doctoral of veterinary medicine from the University of Minnesota and his undergraduate degree from Bridgewater State University.

Joyce Anderson & Jolene

Hospital Administrator
We are so proud to have Joyce on our team with over 25 years of experience as a Hospital Administrator. Joyce holds an A.S. in Animal Science from Newbury College, and has a love of all things furry; especially dogs and cats. Her passion for her work is obvious, and we are so excited to have her as part of our team. Joyce’s knowledge and skillset are a tremendous asset for our veterinary clinic.

Brittany Meehan & Bailey

Retail Manager
Brittany joined the JM Pet Resort team in August of 2010 and has developed into our Retail Manager. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Johnson & Wales and is also a certified PetTech PetSaver. Brittany enjoys getting to know the clients (pet parents and their fur-babies), and ensuring the retail store is well stocked with the best holistic dog and cat food brands; as well as all the items you need to care for your pet. When she is not at JM Pet Resort, Brittany spends her days working on DIY projects, spending time with her husband and two children, and taking walks with her Lab mix, Liberty, and Cane Corso, Ruby.
