PLAYtrain® Doggie Daycare Requirements
Vaccination Requirements
JM Pet Resort has a very strict vaccination policy for all pets that use our services. This is to ensure that your pet is safe and healthy. All vaccines must be current and we do require proof from your veterinarian. A record of current vaccinations must be received before you come in for an evaluation or use our services.
Vaccination Requirements are as follows:
PUPPIES (5 mos. & under)
- DISTEMPER – At least 2 vaccines of the series – the 2nd one must be given 14 days prior to any service
- CANINE COUGH – Must be administered 10 days prior to any service
- CANINE BIVALENT INFLUENZA – A series of 2 bivalent vaccines (covering strains H3N8+H3N2); the second vaccine must be in the system 7 days prior to any service
- RABIES – Not required for puppies under the age of 5 months
- LEPTOSPIROSIS – Strongly recommended for all services
DOGS (Over 5 mos.)
- DISTEMPER – Must be current
- CANINE COUGH – Required every 6 mos. + must be administered 10 days prior to any service
- CANINE BIVALENT INFLUENZA – A series of 2 bivalent vaccines (covering strains H3N8+H3N2); the second vaccine must be in the system 7 days prior to any service
- RABIES – Must be current
- LEPTOSPIROSIS – Strongly recommended for all services
CATS
- RABIES – Must be current
- FELINE DISTEMPER – Must be current
Fleas, Ticks & Other Parasites
All dogs and cats must be free from fleas, ticks and other parasites. Any pet with signs of any of the aforementioned will be treated at the owner’s expense.
Completed registration form and proof of vaccinations must be received before we can schedule your required evaluation for Daycare, Training or Boarding.
DOGGIE DAYCARE
Your pet stays with us for their 6hr. PLAYtrain® Daycare Evaluation - $32.
Evaluation with written report card and goody bag included.
TRAINING
Initial 30 min. private lesson with Trainer…$30
BOARDING
We strongly recommend a daycare evaluation for first time boarders prior to them staying for more than 5 days. Otherwise, the evaluation will occur on first boarding day…$15
