Since 1998, JM Pet Resort & Veterinary Clinic's job has been to make our clients and their pets look forward to seeing us throughout their long and happy lives. The company has grown over the years, expanding its impact, reach, and range of offerings.
Mather's vision was to create a company that aspires "to empower a creative team of individuals in building careers in animal care where they feel valued, inspired, and live in a culture of recognition and growth." She leads with communication and forward-thinking, working closely with the team to coach individuals into roles that best match their strengths. The passion for the animals bonds this team, whether employees are just launching their careers or transitioning from a corporate setting.

While she enjoys the company's women-led status, Mather stresses that gender roles were never the goal she aimed for. Her focus has always been on encouraging excellence within the team. With over two decades of support from professionals of various genders, including her business-minded husband, George Mather, Jeni Mather is a business professional who looks beyond gender and highly values her team's diverse and talented contributions.
At the heart of the leadership team are three women, all working moms, who have collaborated for more than two decades and have chosen to share the same office from the very start. The team includes President and Founder Jeni Mather, Vice President Sandra Vining, and VP of Finance Ronda Guerreiro, all dedicated to driving the business toward growth.
"I joined Jeni in her mission 25 years ago, and we bonded over our love of dogs. We built this company based on motivational training techniques, which was groundbreaking when we first started," said Sandra Vining, Vice President at JM Pet Resort & Veterinary Clinic.
