Meet Jackie, PLAYtrain® and Kennel Manager at JM Pet Resort, and her fur-baby Paisley (a.k.a. Paise!). Paisley is a 4-year-old Great Pyrenees mix.

"Paisley eats a combination of Stella & Chewy's Raw Blend Wild Caught Recipe and Stella & Chewy's Frozen Raw Beef Patties. I love them because they provide Paisley with the nutrients she needs with no added fillers. And it provides her with more energy which is great, because as anyone with a Great Pyrenees knows, they can be a pretty mellow, aloof breed."

Meal time is puzzle time for Paisley

"Paisley will only eat out of interactive toys. Since she's a somewhat lazy pup, I like to use meal time as enrichment time. For meals that are kibble-only, I'll put the kibble in a snuffle mat for her to search out. For meals where she gets the raw patties with her kibble, she loves when I put her food in a West Paw Toppl or interactive feeder. It can take her anywhere from 5-15 minutes to eat her breakfast! I love knowing that it's keeping her mind active as well."

Jackie uses a head halter to take the "pull" out of walks

"One of our favorite training tools is our head halter for walking! I highly recommend a Halti or Coastal Walk 'n Train head halter to anyone who has a dog that pulls. It has made a huge difference in my dog's life, and I've seen it make a difference for so many others!"

A basket muzzle allows Paisley to play happily with other dogs

"Paisley is more comfortable within a group setting with her muzzle on. She is known to overcorrect, so wearing the muzzle keeps her and the other dogs safe at PLAYtrain® Doggie Daycare."
